This weeks' challenge is using at least two types of ribbon. I can't believe I got this done already I am usually such a procrastinator. When I saw the challenge I had my idea and ran to my scrap room to get it done (Luckily it was nap time). I used the Miracle kit (which pictures don't do this kit justice, it is so pretty in person, everyone must get this kit) with sweet leaf and white ric rac ribbon. I layered a piece of paper with the ribbon in the background of the butterfly. I used the Say it in Style stamp set as well and lots of bling. I hope you all enjoy. Happy creating :) and have a fabulous week :)

A little of this and a little of that
LOVE THOSE FLOWERS!!!!
Here is my red, white, and cute page. My kids 4th of July a few years ago. These two are older now and my 1 year old is wearing the elmo outfit now, just love it.

This is my son and daughter reading together. One of those rare occasions that you just have to get on camera cause you don't know if the next time they are this close there will be some hitting involved. Kailey is such a great big sister, she is now the big sister of two little brothers and I am catching up on the photos of when it was just the two. I am a very scrap on a whim scrapper and scrap what I am in the mood for. Makes for some disorganized time lines, what can you do? TFL.
Heart 2 Heart challenge #3: Let's Get Sketchy
This is my handmade flower that I learned how to do from Paper Creations Magazine. I had some trouble with it and took me some time to get it. I think practice makes perfect. I used new product from the summer catalog: Splendor paper which I LOVE DEARLY, Splendor brads which are so awesome, and some of the Splendor stickease for the scalloped border.
I hope you can appreciate the color, my photos are a bit washed out. Did I say I love this paper already:) TFL.

Heart 2 Heart challenge card: 1-stamp image 2- patterns of paper 3- embelishments
This was so hard for me. I usually add so much. I wanted to add a big flower in the corner, ribbon, and just more stuff. I probably will, this is just my challenge version I guess. The only thing I used non-ctmh again was my ek punch. I love these papers and this little frog is one of my all time favs. TFL and I can't wait to see everyone elses. Oh yeah and I think I did cheat using the fly, told you I couldn't help myself. Don't worry I won't use that punch every time, it is one of new addictions (punches) and I don't have very many yet.

My April Heart 2 Heart challenge submission
This is the view showing the dimension of the card and the shadow effect.
I used Felicity and TLC stamp sets.
I was so excited and started creating, posted my card, and I realized I used butttercup instead of sunflower. I have to pay more attention. The only non-ctmh product I used was my border punch from ek.

Brand New Blogger
Hi Blogging world,
I am brand new to this as you can see my blog is very plain. I am excited to share my creations with the rest of the blogging world out there and I appreciate any advice that would be helpful on my new blogging journey. I also am excited to share my adventures of being a SAHM and all that entails (which is a lot). Bare with me out there and I will learn as I go. Now to search for some challenges to enter and post my creations. Happy creating and have a blessed day.
